Tricycle
Rachel Kempf examines the boundaries of friendship and love in this essay.  She used only relevant details to paint a picture of her relationship with Christian and Eric.  The scene between her and Clint was sufficiently awkward compared to the scenes with the three of them.  I like her use of the number 3, like the threesome conversation and when Eric calls them a "tricycle."  Overall, I thought this piece had a good voice, but it did remind me of my high school blog at times.
Some questions:
1.  How much is too much symbolism (like the number 3 in this case)?  How do you know when enough is enough?
2.  Is there a good method for choosing which scenes to keep and which to get rid of in an essay?
3.  Did Christian and Eric change her completely?  In what ways?
